During the month of fasting I feel so tired that if I sleep, I miss two or more obligatory prayers and I feel that I am sinning. My question is: If I sleep and miss Zuhr and ‘Asr until Maghrib comes, and I am afraid that the time for Maghrib is about to end, what should I do?.
Concerning the virtues of sunnah prayers, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever prays twelve rak’ahs during the night and day, a house will be built for him in Paradise: four before Zhuhr and two after, two rak’ahs after Maghrib, two rak’ahs after ‘Isha and two rak’ahs before Fajr prayer
47 And He it is Who makes the night as a ‘robe’ for you; and sleep as ‘repose’, and makes the day (as if) a Resurrection. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumar verse 42: 42 It is Allah that takes the souls at death: and those that die not (He takes their souls) during their sleep: those on whom He has passed the Decree of The Ruling On Sleeping Between Maghrib And Ishaa. The scholars mention it is disliked due to the narration of the prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم regarding Isha: sleep before it because it may lead one to missing The Isha prayer in Jamaa’ah, and; speech after it because it may lead to him staying up all night and missing Fajr.
But one thing that you must understand well is that praying before its time should not be done carelessly. You are not allowed to do five kinds of obligatory prayers (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha) at one time. All you can do is do the Asr prayer during the Dhuhr prayer, do the Isha prayer during the Mahgrib prayer.
4. Tuck the fitted sheet in tightly if it came loose; it usually does. 5. Fold the tip of the pulled-down top sheet/blanket under itself; Tuck any loose edges under the mattress. Smooth and neaten bed linens. 6. Place the sleeping pillows back at the head of the bed. Leave decorative pillows on the chair. Summary of answer. Sleep does not invalidate fasting, but for a fasting person to spend most of the day asleep is a kind of negligence on his part, especially since the month of Ramadan is a special time and the Muslim should strive to benefit from it by reading Quran a great deal, seeking provision and acquiring knowledge. .
